  • GET A GRIP- MENTOR PROGRAM

    UCM is in search of volunteers to serve as mentors to interested college students. All mentors will be required to submit to a criminal background check, attend an orientation on how to engage with the student and meet the minimum age requirement of thirty years of age.  Mentors will provide emotional and encouraging support in areas identified by the student. Mentors are allowed to provide mentees with small in kind donations but are prohibted from engaging in cash exchanges.   • FUNDING-DEVELOPMENT

    UCM is funded through grants, donor giving, and denominational support.  We are inviting individuals who posess experience in fund development to join our team in securing new donor relationships and grant writing. If you have experience in creating donor appeals, fundraising campaigns, virtual auctions, and strategic planning in funding models, we'd love to have you on our team.   • BECOME A PARTNER (CHURCH/UNIVERSITY/COLLEGES)

    Partners are defined as organizations, that support the mission and vision of United Camus Ministry of Greater Houston. 

    Partners could be

    -Denomination or Church Congregation

    -College or University Campus interested in having UCM provide programs for their population

    - Business insterested in providing resources deemed necessary by UCM

    Partnerhips commit to monetary or in kind donations annually as part of the partnership agreement. If you are interested in supporting students in their faith formation and academic journey through the lens of progressive Christianity, UCM would be a great partner.
